Direct Current – An even current flows from the minus pole to the plus pole. Opposed to AC.

DNS
Domain Name Server (or Domain Name Service) – The human brain is not suited to memorize IP addresses; 172.217.16.206 is much harder to remember than google.com is, but the internet doesn’t route domain names, it uses IP addresses, and that leaves us with a bit of a perdicament. This is where DNS comes in it translates ip addresses into domain names, and vice versa.
